Kenya –

Perfect destination all year round

Welcome to Kenya, the land of diverse landscapes, mountains and lakes and nature reserves for unique safari experiences and a piece of African wilderness.

How to get there?

You have the choice of flying to Nairobi or Mombasa.

How should I travel

The best option is to fly to Nairobi, go on a safari round trip with a personal driver guide in our special safari vehicles and then relax by the sea on the east coast and fly back from Mombasa. We can also organise local shuttle flights between different regions and national parks.

When should I travel?

Kenya is located directly on the equator and is therefore a perfect destination all year round. The best time to travel is from December to March & June to September.

Classic Route incl. Masai Mara

The classic route takes you through southern Kenya from the capital Nairobi in the interior to the famous safari round trip to the famous Masai Mara, which merges into the Serengeti on the other side of the border with Tanzania.
Lake Naivasha invites you to go on boat safaris, before you can marvel at elephants against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro in Amboseli National Park. Through Tsavo East & West National Park you finally reach the coast for a beach holiday near Mombasa.

Unique Central Kenya Route
Alternatively, you can explore central Kenya north of Nairobi. Many insider tips await you here. Go on safari in the Samburu Reserve north of Mount Kenya and see the endangered rhinos in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. After game drives and walking safaris, cross the equator to Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha for more safaris – also by boat.

Afterwards, the safari trip can be extended with the classic route, or you can fly directly to the east coast near Mombasa to enjoy the time at Diani Beach or on Chale Island by the sea and fantastic beaches.

Best Travel Time & Climate

Kenya is located close to the equator

and has an all year round perfect climate for your next journey to Africa.

Basically, the climate in Kenya can be described as warm and divided into two areas: The coastal climate and the highland climate:

The coastal region is considered slightly warmer than the climate in the interior. The highest temperatures here are around 28 degrees in July/August and up to 32 degrees in December to February.

In the highlands, the highest temperatures are up to 26 degrees. The reason for this difference in temperature is the difference in altitude between the coast and the highlands.

There are two periods of increased rainfall in the highlands. From the end of March to May and from the end of October to mid-December, you may be surprised by short but heavy showers in the afternoon, evening or even at night. In the coastal region, the main rainfall period is in April/May and significantly less in October/November.

This means that the best time to visit is from December to March & June to September.
