Today your adventure tour through Namibia begins. You drive from Windhoek across the Khomas Highlands towards the Namib Desert. Your destination is the Sesriem Gate, the gateway to Sossusvlei and one of the oldest deserts in the world. Enjoy the rest of the day at your lodge and explore the surrounding area, including the Sesriem Canyon.

At sunrise you set out on a tour to Sossusvlei, climb the gigantic dunes, and enjoy the view of Dead Vlei on your descent – Namibia’s number one postcard motif. You embark on this tour with a guide from your lodge. In the afternoon you have the opportunity to hike through the Sesriem Canyon and round off the day in the desert or by the pool at your lodge.

In the morning you embark on a boat trip on the Atlantic to see seals, dolphins, and pelicans, while sampling Namibian oysters on board. In the afternoon you can choose between further activities such as a quad biking tour into the desert outskirts that stretch to Swakopmund, or a tour to Sandwich Harbour, where the Namib Desert meets the Atlantic Ocean, to look out for the Little Five.

You drive from Swakopmund via the Brandberg Mountains and Spitzkoppe into the reddish, rugged stone desert of Damaraland. Along the way you have the opportunity to visit the World Heritage Site of Twyfelfontein, as well as the Petrified Forest and the Organ Pipes. After arriving at your lodge, you enjoy the rest of the day in this magical setting.

Enjoy today in the peace and unique scenery of nature and vastness. During the day you can set out on your own (or as part of the activities offered by your accommodation) in search of the desert elephants. They roam the region (including along the Ugab River) and are a rare highlight of Damaraland.

From Damaraland you now head towards Etosha National Park. Your next destination is your safari lodge at the southern entrance of Etosha. Depending on your arrival time, you may decide to take part in your first safari in the afternoon – with a ranger from your lodge or on your own with your rental car.

Today you set out in the morning and afternoon, or spend the whole day with a ranger in an open safari vehicle on game drives. The goal is, of course, the gigantic Etosha Pan, the salt pan at the centre of the national park, where you can encounter zebras, giraffes, elephants, rhinos, lions, and the endless diversity of African wildlife. In the evening you relax at your lodge.

In the morning you continue, now with your own car, through Etosha National Park. Along the main route you will once again be able to observe a wide variety of animals up close. Your destination is the eastern exit of Etosha, where your next lodge is located.

From Etosha National Park you now drive towards the Caprivi Strip in the northeastern corner of Namibia. Your first destination is Rundu, in the heart of the Kavango Region and the gateway to the Caprivi. From here the road leads you further along the famous Okavango River to your lodge directly on the river. Listen to the sound of the river in the evening.

Enjoy today at the Okavango River and at your lodge. It offers many activities such as fishing on the Okavango, nature walks, or a visit to the Kavango Museum. If interested, speak to your lodge hosts about the possibility of an authentic cultural tour to the surrounding villages (conducted with great respect). In the late afternoon you drive a short distance further into the Caprivi Strip to Divundu and the Poppa Falls , where the Okavango River turns south into Botswana and feeds the famous Okavango Delta. Near the Poppa Falls lies your lodge. In contrast to the first part of your journey, you are now in the green part of Namibia.

Depending on your accommodation, today you have the opportunity to take a ride in mokoros (dugout canoes) with a poler/guide downstream from the Poppa Falls along the Okavango, passing hippos and crocodiles. Alternatively, a classic boat trip on the river is possible. In the afternoon you may choose another safari game drive with a ranger in the Mahango National Park, and in the evening relax at your lodge.

In the southeast of the Caprivi Strip, near the border with Botswana, lies your next destination. The wetlands here are fed by the Linyanti River system. Look forward to your lodge, known for its sustainable eco-tourism and perfectly embedded in nature. Don’t miss the breathtaking sundowner.

Spend a full day in Nkasa Rupara National Park, on and along the river, and embark on another safari by land (in an open vehicle with a ranger) and by water with a boat from the lodge.

You set off early today, heading to the tip of the Caprivi, where you cross the border into Botswana. Afterwards you return your rental car in Kasane (border and one-way fees payable locally) and are transferred to your safari lodge in Chobe National Park. The park is famous for its boat safaris on the Chobe River and is home to the largest population of African elephants (sometimes even swimming in the water). In the afternoon you embark on a boat safari into the sunset.

With our pre-arranged border transfer you travel into Zimbabwe and through the Zambezi National Park to the Victoria Falls. Visit the famous 1.8 km wide waterfalls at your own pace and feel the masses of water thunder more than 100 m down into the gorge.

Today at the waterfalls is at your leisure: explore the small town of Victoria Falls and choose from further adventure activities such as a helicopter flight, canoe trip, or white-water rafting and bungee jumping from the Victoria Falls Bridge. In the evening you can round off your journey with a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River.

Today your unforgettable African journey comes to an end. In the late morning you are transferred to Victoria Falls Airport to check in for your return flight. In your luggage: countless unforgettable memories.
