How does a safari journey work in East Africa

A round trip with a personal driver guide

Welcome on your East Africa safari journey. Traditionally, a round trip will take you across the best national parks of the country while seated comfortably in one of our tailor-made safari-vehicle with windows all around and a pop up safari roof top for an unobstructed 360 degrees view of the wilderness and its wildlife. Lean back and enjoy the ride and game viewing while being driven by one of our qualified driver-guides with excellent ranger qualification.

OUR EXTRA FOR YOU: MEET & GREET AT AIRPORT

After landing safely, you will go through passport control and collect your luggage. In the arrivals hall, you will now be greeted by our representative, who will also be happy to help you organize a mobile phone card and exchange/withdraw money. You will then be driven to your first accommodation.

YOUR JOURNEY IN A SPECIAL SAFARI VEHICLE

AND WITH PERSONAL DRIVER-GUIDE / RANGER

On your round trip you will be traveling in one of our tailor-made 4×4 Land Cruisers with pop-up roof, specially designed for safari round trips, and with an experienced English-speaking driver-guide / ranger (without other tourists!). These vehicles have 4 or 6 comfortable seats, each at a window and with an aisle in between them. There is a cooler box with cold water for you and you received our refillable water bottles as a gift at the beginning of your journey.

ACTIVITIES AND SAFARIS

During your trip through East Africa, all activities and safari game drives are included as per the itinerary. All national park entries and fees required for the route are also included in the tour price. For this reason, an East Africa trip might look a bit more expensive than other journeys, however, besides drinks, tips and souvenirs everything is usually included.

ON-SITE SERVICE

In addition to your personal driver guide, our 24/7 Concierge & Emergency Service and we at the Sinclair’s Africa office are always there for you by phone, email and WhatsApp.
